Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Health-Related Information Shared Within the Tru-Wellness Community
In connection with your use of Neos Medical Systems' online community, you may choose to share health-related or wellness-related information through posts, comments, direct messages, your profile, or other community features. This information is shared voluntarily by you and is not collected, processed, or maintained by us as part of any healthcare treatment, insurance, or clinical service. As such, this information is not treated as Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA, and HIPAA's privacy and security protections do not apply to it. Please see our Medical and HIPAA Disclaimers under Terms and Conditions for additional detail.
Visibility of Tru-Wellness Community Content
All spaces within our community are members-only. Posts, comments, and other content you share are visible to other logged-in members of the community, but are not visible to the public or to non-members. Community administrators and moderators may also access content for moderation purposes, including enforcement of our community guidelines and disclaimers. We do not make member posts or comments publicly accessible outside the community platform.
Tru-Wellness Community Payment Information
When you purchase a paid membership or subscription, your payment card information is collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor, Elavon, through its Converge platform. We do not store your full payment card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment card data on our own servers. Elavon processes this information in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment card industry (PCI) security standards. We share only the information necessary to process your payment (such as transaction amount and billing contact details) with Elavon for this purpose.
No Sale or Sharing of Tru-Wellness Community Member Data Beyond Payment Processing
Other than the limited sharing described in this policy, we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including any health-related information you post within the community — with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties, without your consent.
